BIOGRAPHY

Jacqui Stewart was born in 1974 and graduated in 1999 with Honours from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University (RMIT), with a Bachelor of Education, majoring in Visual Arts. After completing her first year at RMIT she recieved the Golden Key International Society Award for academic achievment in the top 15 percent of undergraduate students. Jacqui has taught Art in Secondary schools in Victoria and Queensland for a number of years. She started her own business in 2008; Bdrm Boxx by jaqart and is now embarking on her passion for painting and illustrating.

‘I have finally started painting again after a 7 year break….and I am thoroughly enjoying it…. I will be adding Contemporary Paintings and Children Illustrations to a new website in the upcoming months’

‘The central focus of my paintings are compositions representing Australian history in a contemporary style. My style is figurative and representative which has a spiritual and modern approach to the content. My paintings are to deepen the viewers understanding of history by focusing on the deeper meaning’
